We require a Diesel Mechanic Workshop Supervisor for an initial labour hire position, with potential of placement for a major company based in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
This position will commence on labour hire and move to placement position with the client company after a suitable qualifying period.
Duties will operate around the service and repair of earth moving and mining machinery, and includes duties such as, but not limited to:
* Ordering materials,
* Scheduling works,
* Managing floor supervisor, leading hand and floor staff
* Bringing in work from out of state, organising dispatch
* Managining stock levels
* Co-ordinating
Successful candidates must be keen, with a stable work history and good work ethic and have applicable trade papers.

This positions will commence on labour hire and move to placement position with the client company after a suitable qualifying period.
Duties will include:
Service and repair of earth moving and mining machinery, such as:
* bull dozers,
* cranes,
* trench diggers,
* forklifts etc.
Welding would be an advantage though not essential.
Successful candidates must be keen, with a stable work history and good work ethic.
Wages and allowances will be on C10 labour hire rates as per the current Metals Agreement.

Project Electrical Engineer

We currently require a Project Electrical Engineer to support the deployment of a GSM-R communications system. 5+ years experience in the rollingstock environment is essential.
Key tasks would include:
* Manage the design and implementation of communications infrastructure both in both the train control environment and on board rolling stock.
* Manage subcontractors undertaking cable installation within the train control environment.
* Ensure the appropriate procedures and processes relevant to the railway environment are followed.
* Provide recommendations on electrical components to be installed on rollingstock.
* Be responsible for the electrical design, layout and fitment of communications equipment on board rolling stock.
* Ensure EMI/EMC issues are mitigated at the design stage.
