Concept has in place a Safety Management Plan, Vision Zero, which establishes a minimum standard for the management of Workplace Health and Safety/Occupational Health and Safety by this company.  As a result of the development of the safety plan, Concept contractual requirements require all employees and clients to manage safety in accordance with the standards set down.  This helps improve safety performance in the workplace but also provides employers/clients greater certainty about what Concept and their employees shall expect of them.

Concept, safety system ‘Vision Zero’, incorporates objectives which are designed to facilitate the management and implementation of health and safety in the workplace.

Monitoring of progress towards objectives and targets is undertaken by measurement of performance indicators across the business.  Which include:

  • Number of incidents and/or hazards as reported
  • Number of completed workplace inspections
  • Number of completed tool box safety/consultation talks
  • WorkCover claims as lodged

An annual review of the WHS Safety System includes a review of:

  • WHS performance indicators;
  • WHS policy documentation;
  • WHS risk and legal compliance;
  • Results of internal/external audits;
  • Management reviews.

The content of this safety plan is designed to assist Concept to manage its safety systems and to provide forms and documentation in line with their OH&S Injury management requirements as part of legislative compliance.  These documents set out safety management policies and procedures as adopted by Concept Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd during the course of any work carried out by the company to ensure that our commitment of ‘Vision Zero’ is achieved.
